A group of people including former staff of Mike Sonko areย swindling unsuspecting members of the public with promise for Jobs.To warn the public of the groups activities,Mike Sonko has posted a notice in his face book.Here it is:
I wish to notify the public and the Media that there is a group of people including some of my former staff led by Mr. Goerge Owino 0721555583 who are I wish to notify the public and the Media that there is a group of people including some of my former staff led by Mr. Goerge Owino 0721555583 who are swindling unsuspecting youths & the public that they are from my office and have my authority to recruit youths for jobs at a fee.
I wish to let Kenyans know that i don’t ask for cash favours to give employment to job-seekers or need any payment for services rendered to the Public. I’m a public servant who work for Nairobians & Kenyans in general for free. You voted for me freely why should i seek for favours when it comes to service delivery. Further note that I have not employed any PA until I’m allocated with new Senate office and once any jobs are available we will follow the laid down procedure to give jobs & funds to our youths & women countrywide. Kindly if you are a victim report to the nearest Police Station or text me.ย that they are from my office and have my authority to recruit youths for jobs at a fee.
