Kenyan man Jackson Ndagu who died in Oklahoma laid to Rest

Jackson Ndagu Kariuki, the Kenyan man who passed away on 13th March 2013  in Oklahoma USA where he lived  with his family was laid to rest at his Irindi ( Kiruga) home in Othaya, Nyeri County on Saturday 6th April 2013.

The funeral service was officiated by ACK Bishop Joseph Kagunda. Jackson Ndagu is the son of the late Mr Cleophas Kariuki Ndagu and Mrs Lucy Wambui Kariuki, the Othaya Maendeleo ya Wanawake Chairlady.The funeral was attended by thousands of people from all walks of life. Jackson is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ndagu and 2 children Zaria Wambui and Zadan Kariuki all of Oklahoma USA.

Jackson Ndagu (39 yrs) of Oklahoma USA,died on March 13th 2013, after he collapsed in a grocery store in Oklahoma City, USA. He was shopping with his two children , 5 yr old daughter and 1 year old son. Paramedics were called and responded, took him to the heart hospital where he was declared dead after his heart failed.  Jackson’s wife, Elizabeth Otido, was not with them when the tragedy happened. But their 5 year old daughter knew her mother’s phone number which she gave to ALDI’s store manager who immediately called Elizabeth to go pick up the children from the store. It was an untimely death and the young mother and now a widow (28yrs) is expected to continue with her life without her husband. Jackson is originally from Othaya Kenya. The late Jackson and his wife moved to Oklahoma to further their studies. Elizabeth is a student at Oklahoma City Community College, scheduled to graduate in May 2013.
