We regret to announce the promotion to glory of Mr. William Gitonga (Thuo) of Gathaithi Village, Huho-ini Sub-location, Nyeri. He was son of the late Obadiah and Joyce Muthoni Thuo.
The late William Gitonga is survived by his loving wife Alice Gitonga of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He was the father of Henry Mwangi, Joseph Gikunju, Samuel Ngunjiri, Jeremiah Karing’u, Gerald Kimangu, James Ngatia and Joyce Muthoni all of Nairobi, Kenya. Father-in-Law of Florence Mwangi, Mary Gikunju, Rose Ngunjiri, Purity Karing’u, and Gladys Kimangu.
The late William Gitonga was the grandfather of Verona Wangui Mwangi, Patience Njeri Mwangi, Olivia Wangui Gikungu, Clever Gitonga Gikungu, Zoe Ngunjiri, Alicia Wangui Karing’u, Mary Wakarima Kimangu, and Sasha Wangui Kimangu.
Family and friends are meeting daily at 6pm at Alice Gitonga’s residence at 1044 Foxcroft Lane Essex, MD 21221.
There will be a Memorial Service and Fundraising at 4pm on Sunday June 2nd, 2013 at Liberty Outreach Center 1704 Taylor Ave Baltimore MD 21234.
