Doctors and nurses at Nairobi Hospital are angry with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko whom they accuse of breaching the hospital’s rules and regulations.
Sonko’s wife has been admitted to the hospital for the last week. However, the senator has ignored the rules about visiting hours and has even gone to the extent of bringing in a mattress so that he can sleep on the floor in his wife’s private ward so that he is there just in case she needs him.
The hospital staff are at a loss of what to do with the man. While they understand how distraught he may be about his spouse’s health, the staff are concerned that Sonko’s actions might expose the hospital to allegations that it practises discrimination! – the-star.co.ke
