President Kenyatta to attend Groove Awards ceremony

President Uhuru Kenyatta will on Saturday attend the 2013 Groove Awards ceremony honouring top performing gospel artists from East Africa at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC).

The Groove Awards, which is East Africa’s premier Gospel music awards, was founded in 2004 to showcase and promote talent in the region. To date, over 600 artists and groups have been honoured. (External:ย Groove 2013)

President Kenyatta is scheduled to arrive for the gala at KICC at 6.00 P.M.

On arrival, the President will be received by Sports, Culture and Arts Cabinet Secretary Hassan Wario and Safaricom Chief Executive Officer Bob Collymore.-nation.co.ke
