Scissor Sister Charlotte Mulhall today confesses to the brutal slaughter that horrified the nation.
In an astonishing letter, she claims sister Linda knows where victim Noorโs head is buried.
In an incredible written confession handed exclusively to the Irish Sunday Mirror, the 28-year-old convicted murderer has finally apologised for brutally butchering her motherโs lover Farah Swaleh Noor who was from Kenya.
She said: โIโm sorry for what I have done. If I could turn back the hands of time I would have never done it.
โItโs the one thing I do regret in my life. I wish I never done it. I still have nightmares.โ
After years of denial, Charlotte has now written openly about the sickening night in 2005 in which she reveals: โIt went out of control.โ
Part of the astonishing letter reads: โI believe I will never get out of prison because I donโt know where Farahโs head is. Only Linda knows that.โ
Charlotte penned the explosive letters from Dublinโs Dochas Centre where she is serving life for murdering and chopping up the Kenyan at her motherโs home at Richmond Cottage, Ballybough, North Dublin, in 2005.
Charlotte stabbed Noor up to 20 times with a kitchen knife, while older sister Linda admitted hitting him โa good few timesโ on the head with a claw hammer.
The women then spent hours sawing up his body in the bathroom.
They dumped his limbs and torso in the Royal Canal before taking his head on the bus to Tallaght, West Dublin, where it was hidden in a park before being moved. It has never been recovered.
In the three-page letter, Charlotte lifts the lid on the slaughter and reveals:
- She doesnโt know where Noorโs head is buried and only Linda can tell gardai where to find it
- Her regret over the killing admitting the horrific crime still gives her nightmares
- How she hates Linda who she says should have taken more of the blame for butchering Noor
- On the night of the killing things got โout of controlโ
- Mum Kathleen is also to blame for lying to Noor telling him she was pregnant and then saying she had miscarried
- Kathleen deserved the punishing beatings she got from Noor for being a liar.
Both Charlotte and Linda denied the brutal killing as their trial for the savage murder horrified the nation.
But Charlotte believes her sister should have been given the longer sentence for her involvement in the killing.
She writes: โI hate her so much [Linda]. She should of got life not me. She did more than what I did that horrific night. It went a bit out of control that night.โ
Charlotte, who was jailed in 2006, says she wishes she had never savagely murdered Noor.
Her mother Kathleen previously told this paper that Noor had beaten her every day of their relationship and had often threatened to kill her. But Charlotte has now questioned Kathleenโs claims that Noor would attack her.
She writes that Kathleen used to make up stories all the time about her relationship including that she was pregnant by her abuser.
Charlotte writes: โShe should have got life [Kathleen]. She use to say to Farah all the time she was pregnant. But she wasnโt really. She would then tell him that she miscarried and buried the baby out in the back garden.โ
She rubbished claims that she killed Noor because he made a pass at her sister โ a claim 37-year-old Linda originally made during Garda interviews.
Instead she insists the only reason she murdered Noor โ who was once a suspect in the brutal killing of teenager Raonaid Murray โ was because her mother had told her that he had threatened to kill her first if not.
She continued: โI believe now it was mostly her [Kathleenโs] fault why he beat her, now that I think about it. She should have got life.โ
Charlotte feels betrayed by the justice system for the treatment and life sentence she received.
She added: โI was let down by the justice system. They wouldnโt even let the people that Farah had hurt take the stand for more evidence.
โHe hurt my ma and I got on with my ma till I found out what she was like.โ
Kathleen was sentenced to five years after pleading guilty in February 2009 to impeding the investigation into Noorโs death.
The mum of six, 58, was released from Mountjoy in October 2011. She is currently believed to be living in England with her new 20-year-old lover.
Her son James was also recently caged for an indefinite period in Leeds for the brutal knife attack on his former partner Margaret McNamee.
In passing sentence the judge said: โYou are a man who clearly when in drink can be violent. There were 12 wounds. Both lungs were punctured.
โI am satisfied that it was really serious injury and that, in fact, you wanted to cause more serious injury than was done.
โThe force of the attack had bent the blade of the knife. It is a miracle your partner was not more seriously hurt.โ-Irish Mirror
