Some of the footbridge users who spoke to The Nairobian said it gets worse at nightfall. That is when lovebirds start entertaining ideas of breaking the seventh commandment.

“I was crossing the footbridge with my children few minutes to 7pm when we found a couple who had forgotten they were not in their bedroom,” said Richard Muthee, frequent user of a footbridge in Roy Sambu along the Superhighway.
A trader who sells roasted maize at a Jogoo Road footbridge however said this is good for his business since several couples who check in the footbridge to enjoy cool breeze grab a maize cob to munch up there.
