It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Nsengiyumva Gerson from Burundi but a friend of Kenyans in Newport News Virginia. He passed away on September 5th 2014. Gerson fell ill on Monday, September 1, 2014 and was taken to Sentara Careplex hospital where he was admitted for tests and urgent care. He underwent surgery on Friday to remove fluids from around his heart. He passed away later that evening from complications.
Gerson and his family immigrated to the United States in 2007 as refugees.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday, 27th September 2014. The family really needs assistance and would appreciate your prayers and financial gifts.
