Miss Kenya arrived in London this week for Miss World Competition at Excel, East London. ExCeL London will host the 64th edition of the Miss World pageant on December 14 at 2.30pm. Founded in1951 and introduced as part of the ‘Festival of Britain’ celebrations, the internationally acclaimed beauty pageant draws in an annual audience of over a billion.
Miss World is the oldest leading international competition with a charity core called Beauty With a Purpose which raises millions of pounds for people in need across the globe. James Rees, Executive Director, ExCeL London said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as this year’s host for the Miss World Final.
With our experience of world-famous, televised events such as the G20, Olympic Games and Sports Personality of the Year, we have welcomed royalty, world leaders and stars from across the globe including, most recently, William Hague and Angelina Jolie.
