Amazing: Kite Flying Festival In Kenya

Kite fliers, makers and enthusiasts from around the region gathered at the Nairobi Polo Club, ASK Jamhuri Showground over the weekend, to attend the fourth edition of the Kenya Kite Festival.

The event organised by Urban Live Events is the second International kite festival in the continent after South Africa, and East and Central Africaโ€™s premier kiting event.

The highlight of the event was show from professional kiters who displayed kites 20-30 feet in to the air.

Attendees bring their own kites and enjoy a day of kiting and family fun. For those watching from the sidelines, it was a picnic style event where they partook in various aero-games and activities.
