#MluhyaNiKuku:Kenyans will always react, without facts, after Kidero banned reckless chicken slaughtering a move to curb the cholera outbreaks, this is how Kenyans reacted.

The reason for the ban was because of the recent Cholera outbreaks. But do ย kenyans seem to care? No. They prefer to live for the money. in a statement on social media, Kidero posted :

Today the Nairobi County Veterinary department headed by Dr Charles Makori, arrested vendors slaughtering poultry illegally in Burma maarket.

The County government has been conducting surveillance and mapping out areas where illegal slaughtering of poultry was being undertaken.

The only slaughter houses allowed to slaughter chicken for sale around Jogoo roaf and its environs are Kariokor and Maziwa Poultry slaughter houses.

Anyone found slaughtering chicken in their premises will be arrested. Anyone with information regarding the illegal slaughtering of poultry please get intouch on 0725 624489 or ekidero@nairobi.go.ke

About Evans Kidero

Evans Odhiambo Kidero (born 20 May 1957) is a Kenyan politician and former Governor of Nairobi County. He served as CEO of Mumias Sugar Company for 8 years, resigning in 2012 to join elective politics.

Early life
Kidero was born in Majengo as the eldest in a family of 7. He did his O level at Agoro Sare High School then for his A level, attended Mangu High School where he eventually became Head Boy, also known as prefect.

He graduated from the University of Nairobi in 1983 with a Degree in Pharmacy and went on to obtain a Masters in Business Administration at the Kenyan United States International University in 1990. He was CEO of the Mumias Sugar Company for eight years before resigning from that position in 2012 to pursue a career in politics.
