An audio has surfaced on social media, with a voice of a man alleged to be the Chief Officer of Health Services in Baringo County, Gideon Toromo, ‘accepting the resignation’ of a health worker.
It is not clear what the issue was, but a visibly agitated Toromo is heard ‘lecturing’ his unnamed junior, whom he directs to write a show-cause letter on why he had seemingly disrespected him. He gives him up to Friday, but the doctor has a ready answer. Listen above.

UPDATE: Following protests by doctors in the county, Baringo Governor Benjamin Cheboi has showed him the door, and replaced him with Gerishon Abalakwa on an acting capacity.
