Two months ago, the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy(CORD) led a rally at Uhuru Park in solidarity with striking teachers.

During the September rally, the Raila led team launched a teacherโ€™s account in which Kenyans were urged to contribute money to assist the striking teachers.ย Upon the launch, Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka committed to deposit KSh 100,000 each into the solidarity account to kick-start a process that would see teachers get paid.
