Death Announcement Of Mama Julitah Kerubo Simon

It is with deep sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Julitah Kerubo Simon which occurred on Friday, December 18th 2015 in Kisii Kenya.

Loving wife to the Late Mzee Simeon Gutunyi Gisemba.

Loving mother to Jeremiah Nyangaresi Simon of Bayonne, NJ, Consolata Simon and her husband, Ben Onkoba of Bayonne, NJ and many others in Kenya.

Loving grandmother to Everngeline Ongubo and her husband Goeffrey Ongubo of North Carolina, Jacinta Simon, Isaac Simon, Glory Simon; Maxine, Michelle and Michael Onkoba all of Bayonne, NJ and many others in Kenya.

On November 20th 2015, Mama Julitah’s husband, Mzee Simeon Gisemba, passed away in Kisii Kenya.

Mama Julitah who lived in Bayonne, NJ, traveled to Kenya with her family to bury her husband and while there she got suddenly got ill and succumbed to her illness.

Mama Kerubo was an active parishioner of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Jersey City, NJ.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and support at Jeremiah’s residence, 796 Avenue C, Apt A3, Bayonne, NJ

A Memorial Mass in remembrance of Mama Kerubo will be held on Saturday, December 26th 2015 at St. Patricks Church, 495 Bramhall Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07304 at 5:00 pm.

A Fundraiser to support the family with funeral expenses and enable them travel to Kenya will be held after the mass at 7:00pm at the St. Patrick’s Church Hall.
