Renowned gospel singer, Emmy Kosgei, has revealed why she married her husband, Apostle Anselm Madubuko.
In an interview with a Nigerian publication, The Sun, the ololo hit-maker said that marriage life has not been easy. This is because it is entirely a different ball game in Nigeria.
However, the award-winning artiste says that her husband is a man who understands her music and respects the people’s love for her. In addition, she says that he is forever supportive of what she does.
“He has always given me the platform and opportunity to grow in my career, which has always been my desire. I am very fortunate to be part of his world as a wife and mother of the church,” she added.
The recently appointed Kenya’s National and Global Ambassador for Culture and Tourism says her husband has not felt threatened by her fame.
“He is not threatened by my fame in music, because he is also a celebrated Apostle of God both locally and internationally,” she said.
Meanwhile, recently the gospel singer had been nominated for Redeemed International Gospel Awards (RIGA) in South Africa.
She will among other African artistes compete for the Outstanding Female Gospel Artist of the Year-Traditional accolade.
