A Kenyan comedian was reportedly killed while attempting to take the Museveni challenge that took the internet by storm.

It is said that Thomas Yatich, 23, died while pulling the stunt along Thika road where a speeding lorry rammed into a saloon car which then hit him.

The comedian was heading home after leaving the National Theatre in the company of a friend identified as Aaron Namwai when they decided to try the challenge.

Namwai sustained serious head injuries while drivers of the lorry and the saloon car were rushed to Matter and Thika Level 5 Hospitals respectively.

Traffic police officer James Aroche confirmed the incident stating that such an action on busy roads was a big risk.

A week ago Kenyans jumped on #M7Challenge after photos of Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni taking a phone call by the roadside went viral.

Many people including celebrities and company CEOs took advantage of the challenge to further their agendas.
