Sister to the Turkana

Friend to the Kikuyu

Yes, I am Kenyan

Taken by the Kalenjin

Embraced by the Embu

Admired by the Kamba

But peace is my language

I am Kenyan

I live for peace

My song is peace

My tribe is peace

And, peace is my language.
