Let’s Speak Peace: I am a Kenyan, Peace is my Language

Peace Is My Language: I am Kenyan—
a child of many roots. My lineage stretches from Uganda, born of the Teso, and nurtured among the Luhya. My identity is woven from diverse threads, yet one truth rises above them all: peace is my language.

I am Kenyan—
cherished by the Luo, sister to the Turkana, and friend to the Kikuyu. In every community I find a home, in every culture a reflection of myself. And still, through every bond and every embrace, peace remains my language.

Yes, I am Kenyan—
welcomed by the Kalenjin, held close by the Embu, and admired by the Kamba. My country is a mosaic of people and places, and I carry each of them within me. Through all this beauty and belonging, peace continues to be my language.

For I am Kenyan—
I live for peace, I sing for peace, and I stand for peace. My tribe, before all others, is peace. My voice, my hope, my calling is peace.
And always, unequivocally, peace is my language.

Let us speak peace.
