Super rich Kenyans and visiting billionaires are the main target of a newly completed Sh 5 billion resort in the tourist town of Kilifi, project assistant manager Howard Hu has said.
The Sultan Palace Beach Resort, constructed by Chinese firm China Jiangxi Construction Company, sits on a 43-acre beach front in Kikambala only 25km from Mombasa town.
The residential complex has a total pf 200 housing units. Villas facing the Indian Ocean will go for Sh80 million while standalone townhouses will cost Sh36 million.
Others such as the two- and one-bedroomed apartments will be valued at between Sh10 million to Sh20 million respectively.

โThe houses provide super rich Kenyans and tourists with aย holiday homeย that is also an investment. We shall link the houses to the soon to be built hotel complex on the remaining 23-acre parcel of land.
We have a water treatment plant and a standby generator that will ensure round the clock supply of water and electricity to our residents,โ said Mr Hu.
