On the morning of September 7th, 2020, heaven gained an angel: our beloved Mary Mweru Muirani (Kamuiru). Mweru recently fell gravely ill, and we are devastated by her sudden and untimely passing. She was 49 years old.
Mweru was known for her kind and jolly spirit, bright smile, infectious laugh, and loving heart. She will be missed dearly by her husband and 3 children, as well as a host of family and friends in Kenya, Sweden, and the USA. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Mweru was a long-time resident of Stockholm, Sweden, and we are requesting your generous support to repatriate her remains back to her homeland in Kenya, where she will be laid to rest. Funds will also be used to help with travel expenses for her husband and children to travel from Sweden to Kenya in order to attend the funeral.
