After Miguna’s book, now Amos Wako comes out with a memoir to reveal political intrigues
Monday August 27, 2012-A month after former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s aide Miguna Miguna released the controversial memoir Peeling Back the Mask A Quest for Justice in Kenya, former Attorney General Amos Wako now wants to release his memoir to reveal political intrigues and conspiracy that rocked his 20 years tenure as government’s chief advisor in the Moi and Kibaki regimes.
Wako revealed this at a stakeholders meeting in a Nairobi Hotel on Monday, during the anniversary of two years since the promulgation of the new constitution.
He said he expects his memoir to give him peace and not a nightmare as Miguna has faced recently.
The former controversial AG challenged Kenyans to elect good leaders arguing that it is the primary duty of the voters to ensure only the best and committed individuals ascend to power.
“Let us elect good and committed leaders to constitutional implementation or risk facing so many legal hurdles, “he said.
Wako is also eying for Busia senatorial seat.
