MP Katoo ole Metito and Ababu Namwamba appointed ministers
Kajiado South MP Katoo ole Metito has been appointed the new Internal Security minister in a Cabinet reshuffle.
Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba is the new Sports minister.
He replaces Paul Otuoma who has been moved to the Local Government Ministry.
Gwassi MP John Mbadi has been appointed as assistant minister in the Prime Minister’s office.
The holder of that office, Alfred Khangati, has been moved to the Ministry of Internal Security in a similar capacity.
James Gesami has been reinstated as Medical Services assistant minister.
The West Mugirango MP had been suspended after he was charged with misusing the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) money in his constituency.
Two weeks ago, the High Court in Kisii acquitted him of the charges

2. Hon. Ababu Nambwamba – Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports
3. Hon. Paul Otuoma – from Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to Ministry of Local Government
4. Hon. Alfred Khangati – from Assistant Minister, Office of the Prime Minister to Assistant Minister, Provincial Administration and Internal Security
5. Hon. John Mbadi (New) appointed Assistant Minister, Office of the Prime Minister
6. Hon. James Gesami – reinstated as Assistant Minister
