Friday, December 28, 2012ย – Comedian Eric Omondi is scaling to higher heights with his Signature club in Nairobi. Last weekend Omondi officially launched his political party at the club dubbedย Skinny People United Party of Kenya.
The political party is registered by the Registrar of Parties and although it may not have any of its members in the ballot box come next yearโs General elections plans are underway to field them in future.
Apparently the party targets skinny celebs and members of the society with the likes of Ghetto Radioโs Mbusii and award winning gospel artist Juliani.
The minimum weight for members is 34kgs with a maximum weight a little over 60kgs.
The party goes with the sloganย anakondaย meaning โhe is thinโ and has its manifesto.

Eric Omondi (born 9 March 1982) is a Kenyan comedian and actor. He made his comedy debut in Churchill Show, a comedy show that airs on NTV in 2008.[3] He has since won three African Entertainment Awards USA for ‘Best Comedian’ in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Omondi is the second-born in a family of four in Kisumu County. He attended Kondele primary school then Kisumu Boys High School. He later joined Daystar University and pursued a course in Mass Communication and Journalism.
Omondi had once promised to marry his Italian girlfriend Shantal following their public engagement after being together for nearly five years. However, in 2018 the couple announced their breakup.
