The real estate industry is experiencing a massive boon from Kenyans in the diaspora. The Kenyan operation of Urbanis Africa, a company which seeks to provide affordable housing in Africa now has about half its transactions sourced from Kenyans in the diaspora. The interest in real estate from Kenyans abroad now means that companies such as Urbanis are keenly scheming to entrench their presence in key investment capitals in the world.
