Positive thought: Before you react-Quick to listen, slow to speak
My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry” (James 1:19)
Some people are usually worked up for nothing. They get angry or are annoyed just like that. But all including you and I need to be careful lest we throw tantrums for nothing. Here is what I’m trying to pass on:
1. Some people have a tendency to twist ,alter, add, or subtract facts
2. What is said usually changes as its passed on from one person to the other
3. Some information is usually based on hearsay (He said, she said)
4. Some people treat gossip as a hobby. Nothing makes them happy as character assassination does
Therefore,
1. Be careful of what you hear, read, write or pass on
2. Don’t start circulating information that you cannot defend
3. Do not be easily annoyed until you have all facts. Often times, people have regretted to find out that they were spreading nothing but rumors

Each one of us has got power and the will to change the way we view others/things. It will help to always stay on the positive side. Here is where the golden rule applies,”Whatsoever things you want others to do to you,do also to them” (Matthew 7:12). Just let us remember that it doesn’t benefit…
