A few weeks ago, Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho was making a lot of news for what many saw as disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Apparently, he had called the president a ‘small person’, a statement others claim was directed at Mombasa County Commissioner Nelson Marwa. Uhuru’s brigade led in the counter attack, with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko calling Joho and Hassan Omar homosexuals.

Anyway, on Wednesday, the president was in Mombasa to open the Huduma Centre. Joho played the good host and together they made these great pictures.
