He said her contract expired on May 30, 2016 and she was expected back in the country by June 6, 2016.

“All through we have been in touch with Esther, until May 30th when she last called me saying she would be at the airport by 2nd June,” he said.

The 22-year-old, holder of passport number A2179028, was recruited by Jozank Unique Recruitment Agency.

Her employer’s name is Nam Adel Khalid Qzai.

Mwangi said he was at the airport on the said date to receive his daughter but she was not among the passengers.

“I was heartbroken after was told that she was left behind as she could not catch up with the plane because she fell ill at the airport,” he said.

He said those who arrived told him that she developed a “funny character at the airport” and was taken away by security officers.

“They told me my daughter looked so depressed that she started yelling and screaming minutes before checking in. She was taken away by security officers and by the time they were cleared to board the plane she had not returned,” Mwangi said.

He said he reported the matter to the CID but was referred to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“I went to Foreign Affairs and they gave me her file details but referred me back to CID offices where I have been tossed from one person to the other with minimal chances of being helped,” he said.

Mwangi said he was advised to wait till June 6 when another group would arrive.

But Muthoni failed to arrive for the second time.

After he asked for her whereabouts, he was told that she is being detained because her employer could not take her back.

The father’s girl is appealing to relevant authorities to help him get his daughter as the recruitment agency cannot be traced.
