Funny Photo: Kenya’s Famous Eye Witness ‘Spotted’ in Zimbabwe
Kenya’s infamous eyewitness, Daniel Muigai Ngengi aka Charles Karanja aka Francis Mwaniki aka Charles Karanja Mwangi alias Cameroon, and many other aliases included is spreading his wings beyond the Kenyan borders.
The man became an overnight celebrity after he appeared as a witness in two high profile crashes; one in Nakuru and later at the scene of the Kabati accident along Thika-Murang’a road that claimed the life of Governor Dr. Wahome Gakuru.
After grabbing the national limelight, police launched investigations into the man and he was subsequently arrested. After fingerprint forensic analysis, it was discovered that he had eight previous criminal records under different names.
As expected, Kenyans on social media have been having a ball at his expense through the viral Eye Witness Challenge.
And the fun has not stopped there after a ‘picture’ emerged showing Ngengi as a witness in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Southern Africa country is in turmoil after military leaders staged an apparent coup, placing President Robert Mugabe under house arrest and deploying tanks to the streets of the capital, Harare.
