Kenyan Pastor’s Tragedy in Texas: Need for Prayers

Kenyan Pastor’s Tragedy in Texas: Need for PrayersGoing home from work, Pastor Joseph Mutisya’s car stalled. He packed it on a curve in one of Austin Texas highways. He remained in the car and while he was calling for help, a van rear ended him at high speed completely smashing his car. Pastor Mutisya was taken to Dell Seton hospital where he has remained in a coma. His wife veronica and their daughter are in constant need of prayers and support in this time of tragedy.

According to Professor Teddy Njoroge Kamau who is the founding partner and patron of Kenya Pastors Association Conference USA (KPAC), “Pastor Mutisya was one of the founding members of KPAC and a dedicated shepherd of the flock of Christ. He has been a great blessing to Kenyans in the Diaspora.” Pastor Mutisya is a graduate of AIC Seminary in Kijabe, Kenya. He also graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary and worked as an assistant pastor to Pastor Shadrack Ruto of Upendo Church, Dallas Texas. He and his wife have one daughter.

Pastors are encouraged to reach pastor Shadrack Ruto: 214.395.8774. A go fund me account is operative and the family prays that the Kenya community joins in this effort to support the family with medical bills and other expenses. Pastor Mutisya is still in a coma at this time.
