Imperial bank of Kenya has denied issuing Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu with Ksh 12 million loan.This is a major setback to the embattled dcj.Imperial bank is currently under receivership.

DPP Noordin Haji wants Mwilu prosecuted over corruption related charges after allegations that the bank gave her the loan.
Appearing before court Imperial Bank Credit Manager Peter Nzuki stated that the ksh 12 million given to Mwilu was approved in inappropriate manner which was contrary to the bank-customer relations.
Mwilu was arrested last week over corruption related allegations but blocked her prosecution by the DPP via a high court order.
