KENYAN BOY HENRY OCHIENG LIGHTS OLYMPIC TORCH IN LONDON-PHOTOS
A young Kenyan boy Master Henry Ochieng was among the Olympic Torchbearers in London on Sunday 22nd July, 2012. The boy who was escorted by a large number of Kenyans including his parents Mr. Sam Ochieng and his wife Mrs. Perez Ochieng. The boy took the torch at Rainham Road in Essex and took it for a one mile run escorted by the torch escorts side by side to protect the torch. Kenyan traditional dancers were at hand to welcome the young Kenyan. Afterwards the invited guests joined in for an evening party at Thatched House. At Thatched Restaurant, the popular Kenyan join in East London,ย the management were at hand to thatch people’s stomach with all kinds of food which the guest were unable to clear half of the food provided.

Councillor Elizabeth Kangethe (left) joined in to congratulate Henry Ochieng as her family friends joined in (right) for the double session which included Councillor Kangethe’s brother and his wife Mr. & Mrs. Karanja (centre in blue and wife in full black) who arrived in London on same evening from Kenya.
