PNU Activist Cum Businesswoman Mary Wambui to Succeed Kibaki
PNU activist cum businesswoman Mary Wambui has officially declared her interest in the Othaya parliamentary seat.
Wambui who has no University degree opted to go for the parliamentary seat instead of the women’s representative post as she had earlier announced, since the latter has manyconditions including a requirement that an aspirant have a recognized University degree.
Wambui will now battle it out with about 15 aspirants who have already declared their interest in the seat.
Romour has it that President Kibaki has endorsed her as the next Othaya lawmaker!
President Kibaki has served as Othaya lawmaker for close to 40 years.
Kibaki is longest serving MP followed by Tinderet MP Henry Kosgei.
