Homicide detectives are asking for the publicโs help with information and identifying suspects after a 21-year-old soccer player was killed.
According to police, 21-year-old Felix Achoch was inside of Club Vision, located at 4150 Lafayette Road, around 2:15 a.m. on July 22.
Police say Achoch became involved in an altercation with individuals inside the club. The fight moved to the parking lot, where police say Achoch was assaulted by multiple people. Someone tried to stop the fight, but was also assaulted.
Officers were called to the scene.
Achoch was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in critical condition. Eight days later, on July 30, Achoch died from his injuries.
The Marion County Coronerโs Officer has ruled his death a homicide.
Police say Achoch was attending Ivy Tech. He was a student from Kenya and a soccer defenseman. He had planned to try out for the Indy Eleven soccer team.
