23 year old Lillian Wangui was last week crowned Miss Tourism Muranga, at an event at Nokras Hotel in Murang’a town.
Lilian, a Kenyatta University student, beat 15 other contestants and is now the face of the county.
Despite her late entry, she has become a favourite of the fans and in any of the photo ops she in, her presence is always noticed.

Miss Tourism Kenya 2016 crowned in colourful gala held in Vihiga

Rabella Wendy Omollo from Homa Bay County is Kenya’s new Miss Tourism 2016.

Rabella floored 44 other contestants to win the coveted Miss Tourism Kenya title in a colourful ceremony held at Kidundu Stadium in Central Maragoli, Vihiga County on Sunday June 19.

The First runner-up slot went to Miss Tourism Uasin Gishu County, and the second runner-up position went to Miss Tourism Bomet County.

The six semi-finalists included: Miss Tourism Meru County, Nyeri County, Murang’a County, Homa Bay County, Uasin Gishu County and Bomet County.
