“On 12 December 2013, the ICC Prosecutor filed a notification of the removal of a witness from the prosecutionโ€™s witness list and application for an adjournment of the provisional trial date, to which the defence and the legal representatives of victims subsequently replied in writing,” the ICC said in a statement.

Mr Kenyatta is charged, as an indirect co-perpetrator, with five counts of crimes against humanity consisting of murder, deportation or forcible transfer, rape, persecution and other inhumane acts allegedly committed during the post-election violence in Kenya in 2007-2008.
