There has always been this lingering question as to whether all who claim to be on the side of God/truth will make it to their final destination. The Bible is very clear that not all will make it. If anything, many will be disappointed to find out that their claim was in vain.
Here is what the Bible says:
โAnother parable He put forth to them, saying: โThe kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.ย ย But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.ย ย So the servants of the owner came and said to him, โSir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?โ He said to them, โAn enemy has done this.โ The servants said to him, โDo you want us then to go and gather them up?โย ย But he said, โNo, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.ย ย Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, โFirst gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.โโ (Matthew 24:24-30)
โNot everyone who says to me, โLord, Lord,โ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.ย ย On that day many will say to me, โLord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty work in your name?โ And then will I declare to them, โI never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.โโ (Matthew 7:21-23)
Which side will you be found?
