“Some of the recruitment centres fell short of the standards set by the National Police Service Commission. Thirty six centres where the exercise was conducted have been annulled,” said Mr Kavuludi.

The commission will set a new date for fresh recruitment in the affected centres.

“Any person who was recruited in the centres should consider their recruitment null and void,” he said.

The 36 centres include Tana Delta sub-county, Mandera East, Merti DC headquarters, Kinoru stadium, Umau grounds, Njabini, Othaya stadium, Njoro police station, Narok stadium, Kandara Stadium, Kimilili Amtala sports centre and Amagoro Primary school.
