The following 24 contestants will be battling it out in the national finals of the 2014 Miss World Kenya set to be held in Nairobi county on the25th of October.
The finals have been selected after they won in a semi-finals hotly contested event that took place in Malindi, Kilifi County on 4th October where 24 Miss World Kenya representatives were selected.
The counties that qualified are Narok, Elgeyo Marakwet, Kisii, Nairobi, Kirinyaga, Machakos, Makueni, Taita Taveta, Mombasa, Kilifi, Kiambu, Nyeri, Murang’a, Embu, Meru, Isiolo, Marsabit, Nyandarua, Kajiado, Nakuru, Nandi, Bungoma, Siaya and Tharaka Nithi.
The finalists will join the boot camp for the next ten days where they will go through a rigorous training in preparation for the grand finale where the winner will walk away with one million Kenya shillings cash prize.
This years’ finalists will battle it out not only for the ultimate Miss World Kenya tittle but also for the Beauty with a Purpose tittle.
The contest is a joint partnership of Ashleys Kenya limited, Nation Media Group, EABL, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Arts and Kenya@50 Secretariat who scouted for the models from all the counties in Kenya.
