“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”
For many people the festive season brings mixed emotions as the real meaning gets buried under all the consumer habits. May this season be a time of thanksgiving and joy to you and your loved ones. Irrespective of the kind of progress you made or didnยดt make in 2014 enjoy the season. And remember giving up on your dreams and goals is never an option. For more on that, tune in to the last radio episode # 9 & 10 I talked about what to do when you feel like giving up.
God doesnยดt give up on us either, His love never fails. One of His signs of love for us was manifested in Jesus. A son given unto us. For God so loved the World, he gave His only begotten Son. That whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.
Unlike Santa’s gifts that we have to earn :-) Gods love is unconditional and everlasting. Not based on what we do, but based on the goodness of God . My prayer is you will experience that love that goes beyond material stuff this season. As we exchange gifts and make merry, lets remember that Jesus is the reason for the season and be thankful for the Gift from God and share it both in tangible und untangible ways with others. (Not just our loved ones)…
On another note, many Personal Development thought leaders recommend taking this time to plan for 2015. I also believe we shouldn’tยดt be so caught up in running after the next achievement, we forget to savor our successes. The 7th step in my book 7 Steps To Success- How To Set And Achieve Your Goals is “Celebrate Your Success”. Its festive season. Time to slow down, enjoy lovedย ones and celebrate the fruits of your labor in 2014. However big or small, make a big deal out of your accomplishments. Acknowledging your achievements motivates you when setting new goals, because success breeds success. Personally I intend to enjoy time with loved ones, celebrate Jesus and 2014 milestones. I will be taking things REAL easy tanking energy for a great year ahead. ย Work hard play harder is the current M.O
Wishing you blessed Christmas and happy, prosperous 2015
