Forensic pathologists have ruled out suicide in athlete Samuel Wanjiruโ€™s death, indicating a third party was involved.
Moses Njue, a former chief government pathologist, told a court inquest on Tuesday that the athlete was hit with a blunt object on the head before his death.
Three different post-mortems conducted after the death in 2011 came up with three different results and the government subsequently ordered an inquest to unearth the truth.
An initial police investigations report stated that he died of injuries sustained in the fall from the balcony of his house.
