A man was arrested with items suspected to be human body parts along Nyerere Avenue, Mombasa on Wednesday.
He was apprehended after security guards alerted police of a foul smell that emanated from his Toyota Caldina.

The suspect had stopped along the avenue following a tyre puncture, one of the guards said.
He said the man claimed the smell was of chicken.
He was arrested by Central Police OCS Francis Bundi, pending the inspection of the car by a Crime Scene Unit.
