POLITICAL allies of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka have denied reports they met President Uhuru Kenyatta over the possibility of Kalonzo joining the government.
Kitui Senator David Musila, former Cabinet minister Gideon Ndambuki and Wiper NEB chair Sammy Mbova said Kalonzo is “not interested in a government job”.
“We visited State House last week on Wednesday among MPs from all parties as a Parliamentary prayer group,” Musila said.
“There was no separate meeting held between me, Ndambuki and the President.”
Mbova said he is a strong supporter of Kalonzo and a staunch member of Wiper party.
“I want to deny any association with suggestions that I met Uhuru over Kalonzo joining the governement,” he said.
Ndambuki said he was not in such a meeting and has never been consulted on reports that Kalonzo could replace suspended Lands CS Charity Ngilu.
