I am writing to extend an invitation to everyone to join the KCFA-DC Metro Chapter Fellowship this coming Sunday, April 26 at 4-6PM for Special Prayers for Kenya, the United States and all the Nations of the world! You are all aware of the threats posed by ISIS, Boko Haram, Al-Shabbab and others, and the increased targeting of Christians and others around the world by people bent on evil.
The purpose of the prayer meeting is to unite and intercede for our people, our country and the nations of the world! Indeed, there are many problems that people are facing that are bigger than even what our leaders and governments can handle….but God is ABLE to handle them! The Bible declares in Luke 1:37, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible.” Also Isaiah 40: 28 declares, “Do you know know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.” Let us seek His face and His mercy concerning these issues!
The prayer meeting will start promptly at 4PM and end at 6PM, and will be held where KCFA meets for its monthly fellowship —at the Discipleship Fellowship International (DFI) Church, 1300 Andrew Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20904. We will also pray for our youth, families and communities here in the U.S. and abroad.
