New law firm opens for business in Pittsburgh for Kenyans in Diaspora

A new law firm offering real estate and investment legal services, tax and bookkeeping solutions, corporate solutions, employment, immigration, family law & succession solutions has opened its doors for Kenyans in diaspora.

M&M Roberts Attorneys announced that its corporate office will be located at 205 North Negley Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA and its Nairobi office will be based at Pioneer House, 3rd Floor, Suite 302, Moi Avenue.

The firm owned by attorneys Miano Maina and Catherine Chemutai, celebrated the opening by offering free legal aid to communities in Pittsburgh on May 18.

Both Attorneys Miano Maina and Catherine Chemutai are advocates of the High Court of Kenya and are both Master of Law graduates from the University of Pittsburgh Law School. Attorney Miano Maina is also a member of the New York bar.

“Kenya remains a large and a strategically important market for our US clients,” said Catherine Chemutai, Director of the firm’s corporate group. “This is an unprecedented time for many of our clients trying to navigate the Kenyan market volatility while operating in a distressed world economy.”

Catherine Chemutai was formerly the General Counsel of Honda in Kenya and is a guru on employment and immigration law.
