Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura walked down the aisle over the weekend. The journey to his wedding to Nelius Mukami started in 2012 at a coffee house on Mama Ngina Street.
Hon. Mwaura was then an adviser in the office of the Prime Minister while Mukami was working with Transparency International. They had met through a mutual friend.
Photos of his proposal last year went viral on social media, and the wedding was bound to be something special. I think this was the first time we were seeing a bride in State House.
