โ€œThose renting rooms in Othaya town and wearing skinny skirts are not welcomed here. Let the families celebrate their money in peace,โ€ the MP said.

Wambui advised men to be wary of the women, saying they risk contracting diseases like HIV-Aids.

She urged men to be accompanied with their wives when withdrawing the money.

Wambui spoke to journalists at the PCEA Church in Othaya town on Thursday.

She attended the burial ceremony of Nderitu Macharia, 77, who was local businessman.
