The Nairobi County government has sacked Walter Mongare, alias Nyambane, from the position of Director of Communications in the Governor’s office.
The this follows his suspension last month by County Secretary Dr Robert Ayisi.
Noellah Musundi has been appointed to take over the position at City Hall.
Ms Musundi held the same position in the Bungoma County government.

She told Nairobi News on Friday that she is still setting up.
“I do not want to make promises on what I will do since I have not finished setting up, but will seat with the stakeholders and arrange everything,” said Ms Musundi.
Nyambane’s troubled started on May 3, 2016 after the secretary to the Nairobi County public service board Meshack Guto asked him to submit his academic credentials, HELB clearance form, certificate of good conduct and a certified copies of clearance from the credit reference bureau by May 11, 2016.
On the same day, he was handed a letter of suspension written by County Secretary Dr Robert Ayisi.
