FRESH STORM OVER PHOTOS OF OBAMA IN MUSLIM ATTIRE
An American television host has rekindled the debate on President Barack Obamaโs faith and its effect in the ongoing war against terror.
Bill Oโ Reilly who hosts the political commentary show The OโReilly Factor on Wednesday aired fresh photos of President Obama clad in Muslim attire during his Kenyan half brother Malik Obamaโs wedding.
The photos that were taken in the 90s during Malikโs wedding in Maryland have reawakened debate that the President has โdeep emotional tiesโ to the religion of his grandfather.
According to Obamaโs paternal step grandmother Mama Sarah Obama, her husband, Mzee Hussein Onyango Obama was a catholic who later converted to Islam and took up the name Hussein.
During the Wednesday show, OโReilly questioned the way the Obama administration has handled terror.
โThere is no question the Obama administrationโs greatest failure is allowing the Islamic terror group ISIS to run wild, murdering thousands of innocent people all over the world, including many Muslims,โ said OโReilly.
โMr Obama has never, never acknowledged that mistake, nor does he define the ISIS threat accurately. That group is killing innocent people in order to impose a radical version of Islam on the world,โ the newsman added.
โThe jihad is solely based on theology, perverted as it may be,โ said OโReilly during his show.
In 2008, when Obama was running against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination, a photo of Obama donning Islamic attire emerged and Obamaโs campaign blamed Clinton for the smear.
Obamaโs step grandmother Mama Sarah Obama defended the President during the campaign stating that while her husband was Muslim the children and grandchildren had different religions.
โBringing such pictures that are trying to imply that not only is he a foreigner, he is a Muslim is wrong, because that is not what he is,โ Mama Sarah told USA Today back then.
โIn the world of today, children have different religions from their parents,โ she added during the 2008 interview.
