According to Jubilee’s constitution, the NGC is theย second highest organ in the party and is headed by the President and his Deputy.
The council is expected to formulate policies of the party and initiate activities that the newly formed Jubilee outfit will follow.
Reports indicate that Kenyatta had a meeting with Ruto last week to discuss the matter which was threatening the Party’s unity.
National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale, last week had hinted that Jubilee would name its officials this week so as to steer the party ahead.
Duale also explained that the lack of naming officials had been due to the foreign travels by the party’s top leadership.
Some officials within Jubilee had earlier complained that the lack of naming party officials was creating anxiety amongย its supporters.
