ODM summons Joho, Nyong’o and Orengo over Migori violence
The Orange Democratic Party (ODM) has summoned Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Migori Governor Okoth Obado, senators James Orengo, Anyang’ Nyong’o, MPs Junet Mohammed, John Pesa and Aspiring governor Ochilo Ayako to appear before its disciplinary committee on Monday over Migori violence. Speaking during a press conference at the Orange House, Nairobi, ODM Secretary General Agnes Zani called upon Senator Elizabeth Ongoro and Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang’ to also appear before the committee. The committee will there after meet on Tuesday to resolve all the cases revolving around the aspirants.
During the event, ODM Party leader Raila Odinga told Uhuru to concentrate on Jubilee party and stop meddling in ODM Party matters saying that no candidate was given direct ticket. Raila also warned that violence will not be tolerated during the primaries, those found culpable will be struck off the nominee list to IEBC.
